Just stop in Poetry

Can you please just, like, stop...

For just a second 

Stop being so fucking sexy when I want you to be sexy

And so smart about things that I need you to be smart about 

Just stop...

Being vulnerable at the exact times I need you to be vulnerable with me...

Just stop pushing me in the ways that I need you to push me.

Just stop showing me your heart at all the times when I seem to need it..

And being stubborn when I need you to be stubborn

For just a second stop always finding the pocket I always seem to need you to be in..

Because it's becoming familiar 

I'm getting used to it 

 I don't think I deserve it

And I need a minute to breathe

And I know I'm saying stop 

But I don't really want you to 

Sometimes I'm just afraid
