Effort in Book 1

I hate to break it to you 
But we've never been 100% of anything 
I don't know what that even means
And it was much too soon to know 
I can't give you 100% of what I have 
I haven't been 100% since I've been in grade 12
I operate on maybe 40% of whatever I have 
Some days I might be able to do more,
Some days I might I have to do less
Because I'm so fucking tired and I'm so fucking sore
I'm half a body and my mind is busy throbbing
I imagine it would be the same for you
Nothing is ever perfect
But there's one thing I'm 100% sure of, and that's how I feel for you
You say I flip-flop but I don't... I try to anticipate what you need and offer. But for me, I always will just stay right here because I know what I want
Other than that I have no idea...
