Yesterday I broke down and got an electric meat grinder and a T-shirt for my brother in laws birthday and did some on line grocery shopping. So I am set for a while. I hope I like this new meat grinder and I hope it’s easy to use. Because when it comes to new things it always takes me about 6 months to master it. And I am always nervous that I will do something wrong.
This is the one I got…

It’s funny because when I get new toys I always get comapnies that I know have a good reputation and where I can call them if something goes wrong or I need to ask a question. And there is always some kind of warenty. I very rarely get an extended warenty because I figure by the time whatever I have stops working there are no parts for it and it’s usually cheaper to just buy another one and it’s usually about the same price.

Onto something else…

I have been getting these phone calls from a credit card company that I do use and don’t have and I just hang up. You would think that these scammers would do their homework and make sure the people they are calling actually do have their credit cards that they want to use for their scam. But I now know pretty well what is a scam and what isn’t and sometimes I even call the original comapny and sometimes the police to let them know.
But speaking of scams I have a joke for you and I think it would be really funny if we all used it.
Here it is…

How To Handle A Scammer ~

I had a call from a scammer the other day.

Me: “Hello.”

NOT-Microsoft support: “Hello. This is Bob Bobson from Microsoft Support. We are seeing a lot of virus activity from your device.”

Me: “Oh no. My device? Are you sure?”
NOT-Microsoft support: “Oh yes, we have many reports.”

Me: “Oh jeez. How can I fix it?”
NOT-Microsoft support: “It’s okay Sir. We can help you right now. Are you in front of your device Sir?”

Me: “Yes. I was just about to use it. I’m glad you called.”

NOT-Microsoft support: “Yes Sir, we are going to help you. Can you please push the Start button?”

Me: “I think it’s already on.”
NOT-Microsoft support: “Okay, Sir. Now you want to click on Control Panel.”

Me: “I don’t see that.”

NOT-Microsoft support: “Do you see a bunch of information above the Start button?”

Me: “Yes.”

NOT-Microsoft support: “That is your Control Panel.”

Me: “Wow, I didn’t realise it had a name.”
NOT-Microsoft support: “Yes Sir, now press on Internet Options.”

Me: “Yeah, I definitely don’t see any Internet options. I don’t think I purchased that feature. This is just a cheap one.”

NOT-Microsoft support: “They all have the Internet, Sir. Press the Start button again.”

Me: “Okay, it’s the same as before.”

NOT-Microsoft support: “That’s okay Sir. We are going to restart your device. Can you please turn it off?”

Me: “Um … I don’t know how. I’ve never turned it off. Since I bought it, it just kind of stays on all the time.”

NOT-Microsoft support: “There must be an off button on your device. How do you stop it when it’s running?”

Me: “In those cases, I usually press the big button.”

NOT-Microsoft support: “Okay sir. Please press that button.”

Me: “Okay.”

NOT-Microsoft support: “Is your device off?”

Me: “No. The door popped open.”

NOT-Microsoft support: “Door? Is there a disc inside the door?”

Me: “No, there’s a burrito.”

NOT-Microsoft support: “Why is there a burrito in your computer?”

Me: “Computer? I thought you said this was microwave support.”

Onto something else…

I found pout yesterday that my son is having issues with his phone and he doesn’t have service. Why he didn’t pay it I have no idea so I figure until he gets money he won’t have a phone but he does have the internet and he can call the police and his phone company if he needs to. And he can talk to me via face book so at least I can talk to him.

Onto something else....
I made a beef roast yesterday in the oven and it turned out really good and there are no left overs which I like. And tonight I am thinking chicken drumsticks in the air fryer with some fresh vegetable and some funky pasta.
And as far as my domestic work goes I need to get some laundry done and maybe change the beds and maybe clean the bathroom. Other then that not much is going to be done…

Anyways I really need to stop here…
Do have a great day…

I hope you enjoy your meat grinder. My mom used to have a grinder attachment for her mix master, I remember her using it for potatoes, to make potato pancakes. That "scammer" phone conversation is pretty funny.
