I Can't Believe It... in Help Me Please

Here we go again…This land lady of mine must have rocks in her head because yesterday the guy who is building a house next door is now putting a fence in and the sidewalk that I use to get to my home is really unsafe and I am worried that someone will trip and hurt themselves. There is no signage saying be careful or not even an effort to clean it up. So I sent her an e-mail asking for it to be cleaned up and so far nothing. Hubby came home last night from work and told me if the light didn’t work he would have really hurt himself and it’s really unsafe even with the light working. He doesn’t complain about much but when he does it’s always important. I am the same way.
How can any one leave a mess like they did here knowing people need a clear access to where they live? And she could have sent an e-mail to both of us telling us we need to be careful.
All this mess on the sidewalk that leads to my home has been having issues for more then two years and nothing has been done to clean it up. And the weeds that are growing there need to be mowed but aren’t because there is pieces of wood all along the side of the stairs and pieces of fence and one of those metal things not sure what they are called but it is like a scaffold but a lot smaller. And she wonders why I don’t cut the grass.
I wonder why she didn’t make sure the walk was was safe for people to walk down and up? I guess she doesn’t think people are really that stupid to trip on something they see. Or if the light isn’t bright enough then it would be just as hard to see.
Well this is another thing added to my list of complaints and things that may or may not get done in a timely manner. But whatever.... The landlady just told me that because they are working next door that it doesn’t have to be a clear sidewalk and that now she is pissed at me and says that if I or hubby trips and hurts ourselves that it’s our fault even in the dark. And the owner of the house being built he told me that it will be cleaned up.
I can’t believe that the landlady even asked me where I was raised because she thinks that there doesn’t have to be any signage or waring to inform us. I am thinking maybe I will phone the city and ask them what the protocol is for things like this. But hubby won’t be too happy about this and she said we could use the other side of the yard. But I know hubby won’t do that because when he leaves for work he has only so much time and there is too much junk on that side and the grass or should I say the weeds are too tall and too thick. And why should we or anyone have to go the alternate way? So now I am thinking that we will get evicted because our safety is at risk and I have complained. I am thinking I will just clean up the mess and make it a lot safer. So now I need to finish my coffee and put some clothes on.

Onto something else…

Well isn’t life just great? One thing after another and I hate that. Never mind about getting clothes on I just went and swept the sidewalk and put the wood on top of the wood pile that is there so now it’s much safer to walk up and down and I won’t have any law suits.

Well now I should really start to do some of my domestic work so I will stop here.
