Alaska day 6 in My Therapy Book

This was a really nice town, but the highlight of the stop was whale watching. We saw a pod of 3 Orcas and around 10 Humpback Whales and a mother and her calf. After the whale watching we went up the Mendhall Glacier and walked around for around an hour. It was a beautiful and peaceful place. One down point was that we did not see any other wildlife that we were looking for. I get that it is wild so there is no controlling it but it would have been the cherry on top of a great stop. I got on line for just a moment to text the family that I was not impacted by the Earthquake in Alaska and that all was good and then I got back off. I am impressed with myself and the fact that I have stuck with staying disconnected. There has been more than one time I have wanted to get online and see what was going on with work and home. I am really starting to wear out. I have not been this active for this long in a very long time. Averaging over 10K steps a day is a lot for me and it is starting to take a little bit of a toll. It would be hard to say which was better Tracy Arm or Juneau. That is still up in the air.
