“Sometimes you have a good day, and sometimes you get hit in the teeth with a ruler”. Nora - 4 years old. I read this on the way to work this morning and thought to myself; how does a 4 year old know so much about my life. It is amazing that a little kid can sum up my life is such a simple sentence.

My wife and I had a conversation in the car on the way to work this morning that helped sum this up. Over the last year I have put on substantial weight. I have tried with little success to loose it but I always fall back into the same habits and fail. This morning when I got in the car my wife said to me that I sound like a 70 year old man just walking from the house to the car and that she was very concerned about my health and what I was doing to myself. She then preceded to continue on by telling me that she thought we had another life time together and now she was not so sure.

That four year old will survive the zombie apocalypse....which from what I hear will occur in 2021.
For me, exercising now a days is just boring. I really have to come up with new stuff, just to get motivated. Have you tried planks, and burpees?

Take care.

I am planning on doing planking for the month of November and see how it goes. It is so difficult to motivate myself to do anything.
