First Band Concert in 2019

You mean to tell me that you couldn’t be bothered to come to your child’s first band concert? I simply cannot fathom any excuse that would make this okay for you to disappoint your child on such a special evening. Oh, you’ve justified it by saying that your ex and his new wife were there? There were plenty of seats on the other side of the auditorium and I would have been happy that you were there to support your daughter. That’s okay though because WE were there cheering her on and telling her how proud of her we are while your words say how holier than thou you are but your actions speak very differently. This is the kind of stuff this kid is going to remember when she’s older… not trips to Disney or going out to expensive dinners multiple times a week because you’re too lazy to cook.

I just can’t with this woman.
