Day 6 Weight Watchers in Weight Watchers

I can’t believe how hungry I am when I wake up in the morning now. I usually eat dinner between 4:30 and 5:00. I get up so early (usually around 3 am) so my eating schedule is a little different.

So, WW says that smoothies have more points than the foods that make them up because you drink them. Whatever. I’m counting total points, and I am not changing that. I suppose I will if I don’t lose weight.

Today’s Food: Vegetarian

Black Coffee

B - Greek Yogurt with Chia Seeds, Pumpkin Puree, Pumpkin Pie Spice, Sugar-Free Maple Syrup, 1/4 cup Kashi Go Lean Crunch (5 points)

L- Spicy Caribbean Chickpeas, Kale, Cauliflower Rice, Basmati Rice - vegan- (8 points)

S- Green Smoothie - Frozen Banana, Berries, Kale, Flax Meal (2 points)

D- One-pot Lentil Bolognese - vegan- (15 points)

Wait... so if you blend up 1 cup of frozen berries in water with some vanilla extract, that's more points than just eating a cup of berries?

That makes ZERO sense.

Agree - it's stupid. So I just count the food. Their justification is that drinking your calories makes you less full, and you drink them fast than you would eat them. Whatever. I suppose it I was drinking sugar/fat filled smoothies that might make sense, but my smoothies are pretty simple.

Yes I def know that drinking calories is "bad" like juice and stuff, but I assume juice counts as more points as it should.
