Dom, sub, switch? What parts of BDSM interest you? Give us an interesting in depth definition of what that means to you. Basically define your kinky self for us.

Interest wise all of it simply because the lifestyle on the whole fascinates and interests the hell out of me.
Dominant to me has always screamed control or top and that’s stayed consistent from my first days into the lifestyle but all three of these terms grew and evolved as my understanding of the lifestyle did.
Dominant went from simply meaning the one in control to so many other things. A good dominant for example genuinely cares for their submissives and wants to see them grow and better themselves inside and out. A dominant is also a protector a confidant and at times depending on the dynamic a caretaker or in the event of punishment disciplinarian. A dom especially to someone newer in the lifestyle is a guide a teacher a mentor and a protector all wrapped in one.

Submissive: In the beginning for me sub and slave were interchangeable I used to just see them as two sides of the same coin however this is not the case at all. A submissive is as the name suggests submissive to a dominant but so much more than just that. You take care of them when called on aid them in whatever way you can whether its physical mental emotional or spiritual and you serve your dominant because you see your submission as a gift you want them to have it’s a happy willing choice to serve and submission to the right dominant should bring you a sense of happiness peace and eagerness to fulfill your role.

Switch- A switch can mean the best of both worlds but also all of the responsibilities that come with both possibly domming one person and subbing to another. Which for some they attempt this to try both roles in the beginning and may end up choosing one role over the other out of preference but switches in the lifestyle are the ones that get to have their cake and eat it too.
