Creatures of Copy in Days of My Destiny

Even though it shouldn’t, it surprises me how much you begin to turn into each other after a while. L and I have been together for 14 years. When I met him, he loved comedy movies, and that was it. Now he loves arthouse/alternative/quirky movies, like I always have. When I met him, he was a party-goer who had all these mates that he was always in touch with. Now, just the thought of going out to catch up with friends seems like hard work and he’d rather stay home, just like I always have.

I don’t know what I’ve copied off him. Maybe I’ve learned to laugh more.
