Anyone who says that shoveling snow is not a work out has never shoveled snow.

I was careful. I almost yacked from the physical effort though.
All those places that you do running at. With names like Horsham, I googled them. Am I correct in saying that they are all suburbs of London?
Take care.

I'm glad we rarely get a lot of snow here!
Not really suburbs. They are mostly towns in the commuter belt.

Whaddaya know. My favorite uncle had a heart attack while shoveling snow. He just couldn't bear to wait until his son came over, and had to get out there and do it himself; so they found him leaning against his lawn tractor.
I've always considered it death-by-obstinance.

I hope your uncs is okay.

Oh no, he died. I'm sorry, I should've been more direct.
It's okay. I rarely saw him, and everybody dies sometime. It really hit my mom hard though, they were close. But she has religion, and that comforts her a bit.
I appreciate your concern. You seem really cool. You should make more entries here. :)

Growing up in Massachusetts, I have shoveled a great deal of snow, it is a hell of a workout, great cardio and also the cause of many heart attacks and herniated discs.

I've seen snow inch counts from Mass. While it isn't as bad as Fargo, it is enough to toss someone into a wood chipper.

Hahaha, yes... we've had bad winters up there when I lived there. Unfortunately I was too young to really remember the blizzard of '78 but that left several feet of snow! I have some images in my mind of it. One being that I remember opening the door to our apartment and it only opened about an inch with force. The snow was above the top of the door. You couldn't see the sky! I remember we had to pull the snow into the apartment and dig ourselves out.

Shoveling snow is not a workout. 😬 not in LA anyway. Lol
Mr. Mofo Elle ⋅ January 14, 2018
Very true, but you still get your cardio in L.A. by running away from Harvey Weinstein. I can't make the little face person, but mine would basically be just like yours, the whole grimmacing little person face.
