So close to losing the dogs.. I came home, opened the garage. Apparently the garage door was wide open and the the next thing I know I see Little Ann in the right mirror in my car.. I try to keep calm and act excited to see her. I get out of my car and the roommates dog is out on the lawn. He’s really what I’m worried about because he doesn’t listen. But I try to keep a straight head. Calling his name, Dozer nicely and excitedly but he’s not coming. I have to get Little Ann inside first so I forget about Dozer and get her in then come back. Luckily Dozer comes back and follows behind me. All the while Bruce is keeping around.. He doesn’t run off at all so I can trust him enough to stay. I’m so relieved I didn’t have to run after Dozer because supposedly my roommate has had to run after him down the street before and I’d feel awful to lose the roommate’s dog. So, everything is good. All dogs are home. Lots of praise for coming back and staying near, for sure.
It’s one thing to go after one dog but 3 dogs(even if 1 stays close) at the same time is tough.
