It’s strange how there’s lots of yapping about the “current men’s loneliness epidemic” but it’s only women online losing their shit because they’re lonely and not being approached by men anymore. Men have never had a problem with loneliness because being alone is the default. Women living alone find it unnatural. Men living alone find it peaceful and empowering. Most don’t realize how they fucked up until they’re somewhere past thirty or later. Now they want the husband, the house, the kids. Why? Because living alone turns out harder and suckier than they thought it would be, And then they find out quickly that men really don’t have any reason to give up their blissfully peaceful life. Or to take on the financial commitment of fatherhood. Most women have no answer when asked what would they bring to a marriage or committed relationship. Those “dating” apps will sooth physical need, maybe, but rarely anything more. Because that’s not what they’re for. Duh.
Anyway, I’m going to rustle up some generic hamburger helper for supper. I’ll have enough leftovers to heat up for two more suppers. Easy living, Alone!
