Unexpected, specially one that shifts the tone and mood of the conversation.
Cheering up someone and making them laugh unexpectedly is also great. Its genuine and its helpful.
I’ve been blessed to be around some people who had the most absolutely wonderful laugh, the kind that makes you day better.
Sufe had the most adorable laugh, as cunning and devious as she was, her inner mischievous kid would pop out giggling at my silly jokes.
First time we met I heard her laugh before I had even seen her and I was immediately a fan. I knew she was the kind of person I want to befriend and she became a great friend in such a short time. Her smile was mostly honest but knowing her, it always accompanied by some devious thought in her head. Her laughter was like sun rays coming out of thick clouds, the calm after the storm.
She-Hulk was the exact opposite. Open up the dictionary to look up the meaning of the words willowy, swell, statuesque and there would be pics of her. She was tall, perfectly-toned muscles she loved showing off and if she stood perfectly still, she looked like a goddamn Greek goddess. She was a porcelain goddess, a living breathing renaissance painting. Her smile disarmed everyone. She had that look where she fiercely radiated this unspoken calmness, that manifested through her smile. But heaven forgive me, her laughter was like an excited duck. It was so bizarre and out of place it broke her spell completely.
Vara’s laughter was unpredictable and it annoyed me. Mostly because I was madly in love with her and after having a good laugh, she would always take a deep breath and sigh. That sigh alone made me unconditionally be in love with her. It was worth it. she wasn’t worth it and it only took 16 years to understand that.
