It's Wednesday and there's a vampire on the treadmill... in The Stuff That's Not Interesting But Is The Most Interesting Stuff I'll Write

Well, let’s rip off the Band Aid and get it over with.

I had posted that interview Ark made a few months back to promote his tv series. I was very excited about it because his first series, Shadow, was excellent! Like if the X-Files was a telenovela… but in Thai. Then I saw his new series, and it was… not good.

Like, really not good.

How could I explain it? Remember that Willy Wonka Experience in Glasgow in 2024? Well, if that were about vampires instead of Willy Wonka and a tv show, it would be that. It was just bad… I had written this whole long paragraph about all the plot holes and nonsense, but that’s not really what it’s about. I just still can’t get over this one moment where the vampire, supposedly with super strength and super speed, is running on a treadmill and getting really winded. I couldn’t stop laughing. Just bad.

The thing is, I’ve been avoiding Ark since it came out. I mean, it’s hugely popular and he’s been doing interviews with people from all around the world. But he’s also still doing his own private things (he just recently appeared in a porn video that I happened upon with some famous bottom, he was so proud when he told me about it “I actually topped someone!”) and it’s clear that he’s trying to remain “grounded” now that he’s gained some level of notoriety in Thailand, but I really can’t look him in the eye.

I doubt he even knows we’ve been in the same place a few times because I literally flee the building whenever I see him.

Luckily, we’re both pretty busy with our own separate lives so I can avoid him for the next month or so while he gets a new project going and I don’t have to talk to him about it…

I just hope he doesn’t ask me about it… and I know what you’re thinking: why would he ask you about it? Because I helped him with some of the English in the script… back in November 2023 when they were doing the script re-write. I know what it was supposed to be, which I think is why I’m so disappointed at what it ended up being.

But, everyone involved is making money, hand-over-fist, so what the Hell do I know… Oh, maybe that’s how I’ll angle it!

“I’m so glad it was successful!”

Now, I just need to rehearse it in the mirror because I’d like to go out to dinner again. I can’t keep avoiding places to avoid him… and I’m craving pizza from The Commons.
