In the Life Log - Day 81 in JY 2025

Today was a great day. I was able to sleep relatively quickly last night despite knowing that I’ll be working onsite today, so that’s progress, methinks. My total number of sleep was not my usual (6-ish compared to the usual 7 minimum), but I had a lot of sleep yesterday so it all works out. I think I had a weird dream (forgot what it was), but nothing disturbing. Just glad that I didn’t have any of the bad 3, and didn’t have to take my anti-panic medicine either.

Going to and from the office was difficult today. It took some time getting an Uber, and on the way home, had to take an alternative method first (i.e., ride the company-provided shuttle) as no cars where picking up. When I did finally get an Uber, it was a 30 minute wait. I reckon it’s due to tomorrow being a holiday (and as such, people are probably scrambling to get to their hometowns) + the sudden downpour. Workload was on the manageable side as well - nothing too crazy, for sure, but still had to set expectations with stakeholders. I’m feeling frustrated earlier because the current setup does not appear to set me up for success. I’ve started applying here and there, but can’t really leave until I get something concrete.

Tomorrow, I get another rest day woohoo. Here’s to a hopefully uneventful day - just looking forward to some well-deserved R&R.
