“All the entries in these journals depict reality, with the exception of the imaginary ones. The individuals mentioned in this journal are real, save for the fictional ones. The locations referenced in this journal are genuine, except for the made-up ones. The incidents recorded in this journal are factual, except for the fabricated ones.” - Me!
Due to limited space in the bio section, I thought I would have a link to a post where I could write as much as I wanted. This could be updated periodically, so you might want to check it every now and then.
This is mostly to explain the who’s who of my past/present life so people aren’t confused because I often use nicknames, but also to throw in some random tidbits about myself.
Facts:
I will block anyone who feels it’s their job to argue my point or try to change my mind as far as my own personal feelings, beliefs, opinions, and experiences go. My journal is mine and should be treated and respected as just that. So rather than torture yourself with reading anything you may not like, just head on over to someone else’s journal/diary that appeals to you more and aligns with your way of thinking.
Questions are perfectly OK. If there’s any event, person, or anything else you’d like to at least ask me about, I’m open to that. I may not always have an answer, but I’m not against questions or unsolicited advice because I don’t have to take any advice I don’t want to take.
Family:
Tom: Husband whose parents and one brother are deceased. We have had no communication with his other two brothers and his sister for many years. Because his mother was selfish, I came to refer to her as the queen, and his sister as Miss Perfect because that seemed to be exactly what she thought she was..
I also have deceased parents and a brother. I am not in touch with my only other living siblings. Let’s just say that family isn’t always those we’re related to. Drama Queen, Termite… those are just some of the nicknames for my lovely sister and her twisted little brood.
Past and current friends:
Counting both friends I’ve met in real life as well as former friends I may mention from time to time (excluding those from PB), there’s Andy for starters. He’s a gay guy I’ve known all my life, but for various reasons, I chose to cut ties with him.
Jessie is a childhood friend that I’m still in touch with, along with a few others I went to school with, like Becky.
For many years, I had a friend named Jenny. We were friends from age 10 to around 21 when she decided to move on.
And there were some very strange and questionable characters I wasted time befriending in my homestate when I was young, named Fran and Kevin. Fran was a real nutjob, but Kevin, whose nickname was Nervous because he had a neurological condition that would make him twitch at times, was actually pretty intelligent. Just a wee bit obsessed with me.
For nearly a decade, I had a couple of cyber stalkers, Molly and Kim, both crazies of different kinds. I met them through Alison (Aly), my closest friend of all, who sadly died in 2021 before we got a chance to meet in person.
Christine, Mitch, Irene, and Kathy are longtime cyber friends, and Marion (Nane) was/is a cyber crush I’ve had, even though I don’t always like her as a person. She lives in Germany and has been quite a muse for many of my creative writing stories.
Neighbors:
In the last state and house we lived in, some of the most memorable neighbors were Bob & Virginia, as well as Dixie, all now deceased. My favorites were the “Twenties.”
In this place, some of the neighbors you’ll hear me mention are Toni, Ray, the “Party Girl,” “Little Miss Be Happy,” “The Honker,” “Mr. No Poop,” “Redneck,” Julie and Debi.
States:
I spent my first 26 years in Massachusetts, 4 months in Connecticut, 12 years in Arizona, 3 years in Oregon, 14 years in California, and the last 4 years (almost) in Florida. I live in an adult community, and we hope to get land somewhere out West within the next few years, possibly New Mexico.
Health:
Hashimoto’s, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, hyperopia, glaucoma suspect, congenital atresia of one ear, asthma, allergies, prediabetic, intermittent anxiety, sleep apnea, and another sleep disorder you’ve probably never heard of.
