This will be one hell of a BUSY day. All of the shit that I slacked on last week in due today so once this post is done I will be busting my ass for some time. I have a newsletter article to write, a podcast to publish a digital signage unit to set up and ship out just to name a few. It seems the list is endless and they all should have been done last week. Even given that I want to write about my weekend and how I am doing.
Bad news out of the way first. I got my daughter up for school and ready and noticed while we were walking out the door that her hand had several bandages on it. She had been cutting again even after what I thought was a fairly successful weekend. I don’t understand what goes on in her head or how to address it. I don’t want to talk about it with Scott because it feels like I am just dumping negative shit on him nonstop. It can’t be helpful for a person who is already a little down in the dumps. I hope he can start traveling soon. It will do him good.
Version 1 of the new work app has been sent to both the Apple and Android store. We will see which is available first but I think we all know that answer. I am working on a new podcast but our current host is not doing shit to help and they are becoming fewer and further between. I am working on getting a new person to host but he is more than a little nervous to do it. He has a beautiful voice and is very soothing to listen to. I hope when he hears himself in a test recording he will hear it also and agree. The newsletter has been nothing but a pain in the ass this quarter. I have done two article both have been rejected. One was done on the suggestion of my higher up. That is a shit show from my point of view. They are not easy to write and I am not the best writer to begin with. So be it.
We (the family) had a great day Saturday. We took a day trip to St. Augustine. The weather was amazing the I have always loved the town. We walked and talked and ate. It was a good, but rather expensive, day. My wife and I did not reconnect as much as I had hoped but we had fun with the family and I can do is take baby steps. Sunday was a bust, major storms all day non stop. Sat at home and played WoW. My wife did agree to letting me have the Asian inspired chest that is in the dining room for the bedroom. It is huge and I will have to change down to a smaller bed but that is okay with me. I am excited about painting it and plan on starting the bathroom this week. Bought Satin White for the wains coating so I am ready to go.

Whew, much going on for you. Your work seems interesting. Glad the day trip to St Augustine went well even if you didnt have that reconnecting feeling you fully hoped for.
