In the past four days, I have twice been the first responder due to emergencies on the floor on which I live. Sunday evening, an elderly lady needed physical assistance. I called 911. Today marked the second emergency. I smelled natural gas. It was coming from my neighbor’s apartment. I knocked. There was no answer. I phoned 911. Upon returning from the grocery store this afternoon, I ran into this neighbor. She was very indignant toward me, and practically blamed ME for her receiving an eviction notice. That was the third time that I had to call 911 due to smelling gas in her apt.
This weekend, I will be working on a special Easter project. I will let you know how it is going as it progresses.
This afternoon, I made a big grocery trip to Walmart. I am good for groceries for quite a while.
This morning, my neighbor’s caregiver knocked on my door. She brought me over four muffins from a Jiffy mix, fresh from the oven. Boy, did that cheer me up! :) I immediately wrote a thank you note to her, as kind gestures such as that one, should not go by without a thank you.
