Uh oh, procrastination-o's! in Day to Day

Sitting, playing on my phone when I have a literal to-do list right in front of me. 😅 But it’s not like I haven’t done anything yet. All of our plants have been uncovered and returned to their sunny spots (I hope my poor succulents make it!) The patio was cleaned up, new bird feeder installed and all others refilled, all the sheets used to cover the plants are in the wash, the bell peppers I cut up and froze last night have been bagged and the remaining two were prepped and stuck in the freezer.

I need to proofread my essay and submit it.. I hate rereading my own work. English stops making sense after a while. But it’s easier than having to write it! I got the hard part done. I was literally sitting at my kitchen table in the dark, writing and reading my textbook by the light of my laptop. What can I say, I thrive in adverse conditions, every once in a while…

We are off the junk food (I’m trying to rephrase my mental script regarding food… we are not ‘dieting,’ we are getting off junk food and restaurants and eating healthier and cheaper!) I got a bunch of stuff prepped last night, and it really helps. Thomas packed himself a salad this morning. I’m proud of him. ❤

Ugh, I really need to get up and take care of litterboxes and clean the kittens’ room… It smells funky in there, between the paper litterboxes and the wet food they eat. They’ll enjoy some free time out. My MIL seems to have chosen Churro (pretty grey) and Chorizo (gorgeous ginger) as her babies. ❤❤❤ They are both lovebugs and I’m so happy! Now we just have 3 littles to find homes for and DEFINITELY NOT KEEP BECAUSE WE ARE NOT THAT CRAZY. We’re not. Really. I swear it. Omg.

Ok, onward to clean.

Churro is such a good cat name!

You're not procrastinating, you're investing in your "me time". It's important.

He was Chicharron, but he's much more sweet than salty! 😄
