My friend and I enjoyed an early lunch of Domino’s Pizza. My caregiver / daughter arrived at 1:15pm. She was washing on 8th floor. The washer would not spin out the water. She wrung the water out of the laundry, then put it in the washer on 6th floor. I unplugged the 8th floor washer, put a chair in front of the washer and a sign stating that the washer was out of order. She left at 3:15pm. I finished up the laundry. It has been a pretty good day. I do not feel that Bear should call periodically, while my caregiver is here. He should understand that, but unless I tell him, he will continue to do so. One call is not so bad, but he will call two or three times. It is ridiculous. When I called him back, later he had very little to say. Go figure.
Well, the most recent snow story, is that we are supposed to receive 8 to 11 inches of snow the next few days. We’ll see. I am simply chilling out, and enjoying the rest of my evening.
I joined a penpal site. I have already received two letters via snail mail. It seems as if it is going to be a nice hobby, corresponding with pen pals from all over the country.
For a Valentine’s Day gift, my sister bought me a book of poetry by Emily Dickinson, a framed picture. And a decorative all purpose, regular sized notepad. That was very nice of her. Lunch was fun. We discussed the family’s geaneological history, well, parts of it. There is much to learn, and my sister has been enjoying this hobby for years. My oldest daughter in attendance spoke mostly to my sister, but I am used to that. I know that my oldest daughter does not have a very high opinion of me. I won’t go there. It goes way back. Anyway.....life is not too bad. I am blessed by God. And in the end, what matters, is how we have lived our lives. More later.
