Feeling a Lot Better About Things... in And So It Goes....

This morning, I switched over from a walker to a cane. The state nurse whom completed my intake for a homecare aide, gave me that option. A cane, for myself is a lot less cumbersome in that I at least have one hand free. This allows me to do a little more. Things are looking up, in that respect. I am feeling more positive about my situation, in general. The walker was a great aid for steadying myself, but what with having to use both hands in order to navigate, there was not much that I could safely do, not much at all really.
At 11:15 am, my oldest daughter is picking me up. We are going to meet one of my sisters at a local Italian restaurant for a Valentine’s Day lunch. I am looking forward to it.
Have a nice day, everyone. :)

That's great news. I think a cane will help a lot. You don't want to become dependent on a walker if you don't have to. So what did you order?

I ordered coffee, "The Big Fish" sandwich and fries. Nice early afternoon lunch. :)
