Remind me to stop reading news articles. They’re depressing as hell. On that note, I’ve never been more interested in looking into going vegetarian. Not specifically for the animals, but for the earth overall. It’s an easy way to reduce land use and carbon emissions. Thomas is not going to like this.. 🤣 Tough cookies, it’ll be good for him.
Speaking of veggies, I got my seed trays set up and 7 types of seeds planted: 2 types of tomatoes, 2 kind of peppers, 2 herbs, and lavender, because I had leftover trays. I should see some action as soon as next week. My garden comes in tomorrow and I’ll have time to set it up and get some stuff seeded into it, lettuce and beans, mostly. The rest will transplant later.
Thomas is taking his first exam as we speak. Nathan is down for a nap so he won’t be a crabby asshole later. He didn’t nap yesterday, and he was having a hard time listening at karate afterward. Tonight will be sparring, which is hilarious to watch. I need to get ribs prepped and in the oven (I know, just talking about going veggie, but I already had the ribs!)
One of our kittens had a gluey eye today, so it’s something else to keep an eye on. We went to breakfast earlier before Thomas left for his test. I know, it breaks the moratorium on restaurants, but I wanted to send him off full and happy, and I only had coffee. ❤ we’re planning something tasty at home for Valentine’s day. Hopefully his birthday-turned-Valentine’s-day present actually makes it by then… It’s been showing in NY for almost a week. 🙄
In the meantime, I’ll continue not eating a lot and the exhaling of C02, which apparently is the short answer for what happens to fat when you lose weight. Like I said… Dieting is boring, but so are online classes, and I’ll successfully manage both kinds of boredom.
I’m laying on my side on the couch and Taco is snuggled up in the space between my feet, knees, and butt, all warm and fuzzy on my ankles. He’s naughty, but he’s definitely my dog. ❤
I don’t know why, but I’m rather emotional today. Bleh. Gotta find something to do.
