The work year seems to finally be wrapping up. I feel it is done with the annual meeting is over with. I only have to make it through Monday and Tuesday and we are good to start a new year. A weight has finally been lifted off my shoulders, the video I have been working on is finished and Scott is putting it into the PowerPoint for the presentation on Monday. I hope and pray that all goes well. I was not happy with the finished product but the team seem really pleased. Maybe I need to stop being so self critical. I think the meeting is going to be a huge success. Everyone getting on during the system check seems excited about it. Virtual meetings suck but it is better than not having any meeting at all.

My stress levels have been through the roof the last two weeks and now it all seems to be coming together and paying off. It is wonderful working with a professional team. Everyone does their part to make sure what is being worked on is a success. Andy has been a completely different person this year. I can’t say that enough but I have probably expressed it a little too much. She has just become a joy to work with. She is a little over bearing at times but not bad. I can be the same way I am sure. Mary on the other hand has been become harder with the passing of the year. She is one of the most needy people I have ever worked with. I would rank her right up there with Mary from my old job.

I am more than a little bummed about not being there is person. I was looking forward to my limited travel this year and for the most part have been stuck here in the office. One of the best parts of this job is getting to go to places I would not normally get to see. I had Las Vegas, Chicago and Orlando all scheduled for 2020 and they all got shut down (obviously) I hope that 2021 offers some opportunity to get out into the world. I wish the job had more chance to travel. I need to look into finding a way to make that happen. :) I think I need to get out a little more for my mental health. If not with work than I need to take vacation time and get out.
