Catching Up! in And So It Goes....

Yesterday, although I had been fighting a post-holiday virus, as I call them, I had to go out and take care of some business, including paying off to the rental agency, the balance on the dining room table and pub chair set. This morning, I felt like total roadkill, pardon the graphic nature of the malady description. I had copious amounts of nasal drainage, nausea and general malaise. Still, after trying to rest, I got up and completed all of the basic tasks including washing the dishes, making my bed, general straightening and picking up and taking the trash to the rubbish chute. I did not even go out for a smoke, because it is only in the low 30s, here in the northeast.
This afternoon, I spent a lot of time with Denise. We made a swap. I traded her a 12 cup Mr. Coffee coffee pot that I bought up at Goodwill for her homemade blanket. I washed and dried it while waiting for the submarines sandwiches to arrive, that I bought for she and myself through delivery from a local pizza shop. I am going to bed early, tonight to try to get some restorative sleep, which this sixty year old body very much needs. More next time.
