Last week the last of the trees that still had leaves up all lost their leaves. The tree right across the street from me looked like this.

Yes, the colors have seemed brighter than usual. In early summer we were having higher than usual amounts of rainfall, but the last 3 months or so it has been abnormally dry.

They say a dry fall means prettier colors. Don't know if true or not.
