Sometimes you’re lost and you know it, you have to admit it, you took a wrong turn, your GPS crapped out on you and you are navigating by the terrain, whim, hope, momentum and at night, by the stars for what they are worth to you, untrained in astrological navigation, you might be able to find the north star and the big dipper but then what?
We think we know what we are doing. We think we have it all figured out. We’ve made sense of the world. We’ve put things into perspective. We know how it all fits together and we know how we fit into it.
We are surprised when others do not see the world in the same way as we do. They are wrong. How can they be so misguided? How come they can’t see the truth? How come they cannot see what is obvious?
South of the border, the pandemic rages on, American exceptionalism is dead. It will be replaced with whatever China is becoming, capitalist in nature, but totalitarian by design. It is time to let that virus have a go at changing the world, not by ideology, superior technology and brute force, but by economics, financial assistance, building infrastructure, learned and stolen technology. They have a different approach, a different way of thinking. It doesn’t dovetail with ours. On the surface it can look the same, but underneath, it’s completely different, a different construct, an advanced architecture and a force to be reckoned with.
And we’ve been watching, though we haven’t wanted to, a train wreck, a hot mess south of the border. The dishonesty is on open display. We are witnessing the end of the empire. It is not going out peacefully, but instead quickly and violently, kicking and screaming, wasted and wounded, bandaged and bleeding. It has come from this. The fat lady takes the stage. There will be music but few will dance, though a few may sing along.
Of course maybe this is all part of the plan. Maybe it’s a deception, a red herring. If so, the calculus you are using is a complex one. Kudos to you!
