Santa In Movies in Over Caffeinated

((Disclaimer: I love these movies. This is just a bit of nitpicking just for fun.))

You see, it just doesn’t make sense.

We’re supposed to believe that in all these movies, the adults find out at the end that Santa was real all along. I’m calling bullshit on this. Because in order for Santa to be real, then every single parent on the plant must be the most unobservant, inattentive person imaginable. (Okay so maybe it does make sense. Ha.)

So they always have that moment of, “oh shit, he was real!” But if that is true, then it also is true that Santa has been delivering presents to the children this whole time. But..

If Santa has been delivering presents this whole time, then HOW have all these parents never noticed their kids opening presents on Christmas morning that they 100% didn’t buy for them? Has nobody ever stopped to wonder who got little Johnny sonofabitch that new remote controlled car?

Unless, of course, there have been no mystery presents. In which case Santa is, in fact, not real. But then who is the jolly old man at the end of the movie with all the magical powers? Is he some sort of wizard having a laugh?

It doesn’t add up.
