It’s 5:00 A.M. The wake up light that came in yesterday gently woke me up at around 4:39 A.M. this morning. My brain buzzed between sleep and wake for a bit, but now it’s like fully awake. The sun doesn’t even start rising until 7 AM today.
This artificial lighting is so effective for me, I don’t understand why I didn’t do this sooner. I’ll probably try using the “sunset” feature tonight to help lull me into sleep at an earlier bedtime…
My biggest worry with “sleeping early” is that it might lead to sleep issues such as insomnia. I will have to see… I wear a digital sleep tracker at nights, so that should help me determine any sleep patterns.
So, I guess…time to start my day.
