I went to San Clemente to visit my grandparents. They have been dead for 15 years. But they were alive and well in this dream, and I spent some time with them. I really don’t recall what we did or anything, but I saw them. And it wasn’t like a heartwarming dream where I was happy to see my grandma again, it was just like, “oh, there you are.”

Then I realized it was getting late and I needed to get home. They were upset I wasn’t spending the night, but I told them I didn’t want to. So, I left. I wasn’t far from their house (not even to the freeway) and my car broke down. It was dark and late and I knew I needed to get home, so I decided to walk. FYI San Clemente is about 45 miles from my house. So, I started walking, but I was getting confused, cause I know how to drive home on the freeway, but I didn’t know how to walk home on side streets.

I walked for HOURS. I am not sure how far I got, but I eventually talked to somebody on the street and told them what I was doing. I asked how to get to Anaheim from where I was. They asked why I didn’t call a Lyft?

I was like, “great idea!” For some reason it never crossed my mind to call for a Lyft, or call a friend, I was just determined to walk home in the dark in the middle of the night.

Dream ended, I don’t know if I ever got home.

Dreams are so random.

Were you able to see their faces? Or was it that you just knew you were with them? My brother and I were talking about dreams a few days ago and whether or not we ever saw faces. I never see faces, its more of a feeling of Ok I am with Becky, or that was my dad. It's more like their presence is there.

That is a great question! I don't really remember their faces!

Right! I wonder what the science is behind that?

Weird. I have been to San Clemente. Very beautiful city. Took the train down there. The days when I was dating my ex boyfriend at the time.

What a small world! I LOVE it there! My grandparents lived 2 blocks from the beach my whole life. It's so pretty and the weather is fantastic. We would love to move there but it's WAY too expensive.
