7500 new cases yesterday. The judge in my county already made a proclamation that we don’t have to abide by the governor’s order to prevent gatherings of more than 10 people. I feel like this rollercoaster is about to take a plunge.
I registered for classes and requested my transcripts, submitted my application for the monthly education stipend, tracked down my contractor to make him finish the patio (almost two months later…,) and went on Amazon to put together what I hope will be a solid pirate costume for Ren Fest. I really hope they open this year.... Otherwise I’ll just be running around town as a pirate to get my fix. I don’t be mad if they don’t, just sad.
Remember when we were all excited for 2020? 4th of July and Halloween fell on Saturdays, Christmas and New Years were on Friday, we’d be living in the 20s.... WTAF.

Yeah, I remember in January everyone was doing “roaring 20s” Art Deco themed stuff. It was supposed to be a party year. Now it couldn’t be further from it!

I mean... If you think about it, we did get racism, economic recession, and a pandemic... The Spanish flu was 1918, so maybe a little early, but still..

I chuckled at the last bit. So true. Halloween was going to be so big falling in a Saturday! Cinco de mayo fell on a Taco Tuesday ;)

Yes! We were so excited.... 🤦

I think we should all dress as pirates regardless. Pirate fashion is cool.
