Thus far, it’s been a very good day. For the cookout, the committee has pretty much finalized the plans. The sign up sheet is on the glass wall, directly where the tenants have a good view, as they exit the elevator. We are hoping for a fun-filled day in which a good time will be had by all.
Unlike in years past, the building has a basically pleasant group of tenants, both male and female. Some stay in their apartments the majority of the time. Others you never see. There is a pretty fair amount of tenants whom like to go outdoors to socialize and to enjoy the beautiful grounds, and the beautiful weather.
I have spoken with Bear today. He voiced complaints of mild dyspepsia. He ate part of his lunch. Bear looks forward to the pre-meal beverages, as they serve him coffee and cold chocolate milk in a glass. :) Yes, he gave me a good scare, given his condition during the night, the night before last. I was beside myself. Hopefully the stability of his condition will continue as the days go by.
Right now, in the Northern Panhandle of West Virginia, we are experiencing downpours and grey skies. In the long-term, this one tenant on the committee told me, we are supposed to be in for HOT weather. All the more reason to have the buffet table for the cookout, in the community room where it will be dry and cool.
I should go pop something in the microwave oven for dinner. Now, I only have to cook dinner for myself, so it is normally something simple. Last night I heated up an individual serving of Stouffer’s Lasagna. It was very good.
That is all for now. I will keep you posted on Bear’s condition.
