Another day - which one? in blackpropaganda

The question every morning is ‘what day is this? Basically we work it out if the milkman will be bringing milk, when we have porridge (M, W F), when there is no Today programme at 6 am in the morning on Radio 4.

I actually have one future event in my diary - late Thursday afternoon a Zoom quiz event. I am glad to say I have worked out how Zoom works but I am not sure how a quiz will work - anyway, worth giving it a shout, and the chairperson is very keen and seems to know what she is doing, although we different machines we do not all have the buttons in the same place.
Actually after all this who will need face to face meetings?

It is odd watching old tv programmes and seeing all the crowds, people touching, kissing, and generally being normal. Now on a walk on a pavement we go into the road to secure the right space if someone is coming towards us - but we all say a cheery ‘hallo’

Main thing is the morning is still ‘the walk’ - yesterday it was over two hours - nut normally around 90 minutes - always trying a new route or a variation on an old one. I take pictures of things that interest me and put them up on a local site - they have started some debates and some nostalgia from people who live away - or cannot go out.

The most important decision is what to drink with our evening meal - there may be some who have given up alcohol - we haven’t!

Of course, the key thing has been the wonderful weather - not problem walking with the sun at your back - but it means some things that do need doing in the house are on hold - there is no problem, there is no rush, this is going to go on for sometime.

I haven't given up alcohol either. Been enjoying the sun. It's nice not dashing about.

Absolutely agree - and the sun is great

The sun does make things a whole lot better although there are some humungous bees going about which are stopping me sitting in the garden!
