Its so wonderful!

Amelie's Twin April 13, 2020

The two things I learned from this are:
1. I need to learn to embrace pasta water
2. I need a spider strainer!

Loved it!

Yes! Same here. I definitely never did the pasta water thing in the past.

YESSS this is basically what I've been trying to cook this week, all pantry meals.

I'm only on the first guy's video but I love his little dutch oven. And I love seeing how people store things in their teeny city apartment kitchens!! I finally did a little tour of my kitchen on IG if you were interested.

Yes! I am so jelly of your kitchen, its HUUUUUGE. I tried to take some pictures and video of my kitchen when we first moved in but I cant because its so small. LOL.

When we found this place it was like...that's the nicest rental kitchen I've EVER seen. That butler's pantry is my FAVORITE detail!!! I can't wait to get my cook books onto their own bookshelf and out of there. It will make my dry goods and glasses a LOT more accessible and organized. Would be nice to get some of that crap off the counter there, too. Then maybe I could keep my starter and flours out ready to feed/mix and off my main counter. I've got plans to make...

Firebabe April 14, 2020

It never fails to amaze me the things people come up with, and how creative they can get when forced to use just what's at hand. :D

Right! It's brilliant!

I'm like halfway through, but I need to get to my own dinner! Thus is literally me in the kitchen, all of them, lol. Minus the kids wanting lunch.

Thanks for posting, I am going to pick it up tomorrow and I already have gained some ideas :)

Yeah! Its a great watch. We cooked pasta last night off of some of the recommendations

I am loving all the ideas. I really want to do both of the chickpea pastas!!!

I need to skim through it again and screenshot the ideas I liked :) OH WAIT I CAN DO 🙂 NOW.

The crispy chickpea pasta made me drool. It looked so good!

The white gas stove with the uneven burners? My grandmother on my Dad's side had a stove just like that, with 'finicky' burners that were imperfect and uneven and made cooking more challenging. But it taught me to be flexible, and to not walk away from anything cooking on a stove top. It also taught me how to be very good at scrubbing burned stuff out of pots and pans without ruining the finish. :)

And that one guy's kids?? I could not stop laughing. Seriously, my cousin has an eight-year-old and five-year-old twins. This must be what life at home is like for her right now. Haha.
