Spoil or not to spoil in New Thoughts

I haven’t been feeling very well.

So Mr B has divulged all his plans for this weekend.

Friday we are checking into a resort here, in the middle of the vineyards. It’s a little boutique thing with 30 rooms and a gorgeous swimming pool. Sun lounges and gorgeous views.

Our room has a spa. For two people. Which is good cos Mr B doesn’t fit in smaller ones.

We have dinner in the fancy restaurant Friday night

Full hotel breakfast

Then we’re going on a horse trail ride before lunch.

He wants to go somewhere fancy for lunch, there’s so many places around here.

And home by mid afternoon.

He told them it was our fifth year wedding anniversary and they are giving us champagne on arrival, they asked what champagne I like and they’ve got heaps in their cellar door… So he ordered Chandon… And we’re getting chocolate dipped strawberries…that’ll be in the room when we arrive.

I don’t want to stay away longer cos the cats have to be vaccinated for boarding, and it all just adds up. And is a pain to organise.

So I’ve been busy

I booked a dress to rent for dinner, because shopping here sucks…

This is the gown

It arrives tomorrow in time for the weekend

This is the bikini I ordered

It came from Athens. And arrived Monday. The fabric is so lovely.

I only got Mr B a picture of us printed on canvas. I don’t think it’s going to arrive until next week… I don’t know what else to get him…

He’s done so much for me… Usually I would make him a really nice dinner, Venison is his favourite… But maybe they’ll have it in the restaurant…

I hope the weather is nice. I’m looking forward to the pool.

I asked Dimitri what he’s doing for Valentine’s Day and he’s bought his partner an I wuv you bear!

All I can think of is that episode from Dr Becker…
