.
Today I buried you
Your mourners were
Just one
And I wore orange
But no sunglasses
To hide my tear-stained face
There were no flowers
No eulogies
Just a lot of happy memories
Now meaningless
And wistful
As I threw dirt at you
And wished I could hate you
There will be no dancing
On your grave
No visits
To pay respects
As I don’t respect you
And what you’ve done
Was so wrong and hurtful
That I will only walk away
And try to forget you
Ever existed
But I know that
I will hate myself
Because you will always
Live on
In my broken heart
